The world's only capital city with a national park on its doorstep — and the wildlife is entirely real. Buffalo, rhinoceros, lion, cheetah, giraffe, zebra and over 500 bird species live within Nairobi National Park, and from the park's northern boundary the Nairobi city skyline is visible. There is nowhere else on earth where this is possible.

Morning game drive in Nairobi National Park — the world's only urban national park with free-ranging wildlife. The park regularly hosts all of the Big Five except elephant. Lion prides, rhino, and buffalo roam directly against the backdrop of the CBD skyline. Afternoon at the Giraffe Centre, then the 3pm feeding session at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust baby elephant orphanage.
Morning at the Nairobi National Museum and Snake Park, then the Karen Blixen homestead for those moved by Out of Africa. A Nairobi city market visit if time permits, and a Kenyan farewell lunch before airport or onward transfer.
