The Mara and Coast honeymoon moves from the drama of the savannah to the intimacy of the Indian Ocean in a single arc. Four nights in the Maasai Mara — candlelit bush dinners, private sundowners, mornings when you are the only people watching a lion hunt at dawn. Then three nights at Diani Beach, where the ocean is so clear and so warm that time loses meaning entirely.
Your honeymoon begins at Wilson Airport where a dedicated concierge escorts you to your private charter. The camp has been notified of your arrival — rose petals, champagne, and a private welcome dinner awaiting. Your tent is the largest in camp, positioned for maximum privacy and best views.
Pre-dawn wake-up — your butler brings coffee to the tent. The balloon lifts off as first light touches the horizon. Drifting over the Mara in absolute silence, champagne in hand, with your person. A champagne bush breakfast follows in the field.
A full day of game drives with a private sundowner picnic set up by your guide at a secret location — a hill overlooking a river bend, table set with linen and candles, the sun setting behind you both. Night drive back to camp.
A last morning drive before a late bush breakfast back at camp. Your guide has prepared a small memento — pressed wildflowers from the Mara in a hand-stamped envelope. Charter to Mombasa afternoon.
Your beach villa is revealed: direct ocean access, private pool, a four-poster bed facing the sea through open doors. The Indian Ocean glitters beyond the palm-fringed garden. Sunset swim. A private seafood dinner on your terrace.
Morning boat to Kisite Marine Park — one of East Africa's most pristine marine reserves. Snorkel over coral gardens with sea turtles, lion fish, and the resident spinner dolphin pods that bow-ride your boat out and back.
A full day at leisure — Diani's white coral sand belongs to you. Optional watersports, massage at your villa, or simply horizontal in the shade. Evening: a private traditional dhow chartered for a sunset cruise, fresh seafood dinner served on the water.
A final morning at the ocean — coffee on your terrace as the Indian Ocean catches the first light. Transfer to Mombasa for onward connections, or charter back to Nairobi.
